The International Academy of Family Lawyers is a worldwide association of practicing lawyers who are recognized by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries. Donn Fullenweider and Randall Wilhite have been IAFL members for years, and now Partner Lauren Waddell will join them in this esteemed group.
Membership of IAFL is by invitation only. Lawyers who are interested in joining are asked to submit information to satisfy established criteria for membership in order to obtain the approval of the Board of Admissions. The process is a rigorous one, designed to ensure that the high level of expertise within IAFL is maintained. Since 1986, IAFL has grown steadily, both in terms of the countries represented and the overall membership. The number of countries now represented is 54 and it has over 760 Fellows.
Lauren Waddell has been a practicing attorney since 2002 and became Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2007. Prior to becoming a Partner at Fullenweider Wilhite in 2015, Waddell had her own successful law practice in Houston. She is the current President of the Houston Association of Women Attorneys and is often looked to as an expert authority by local news outlets. Lauren Waddell is regarded as one of the top family law attorneys in Houston and her acceptance into the IAFL comes as no surprise to her peers and those who know her well.
