Isabelle Paine is a native Houstonian. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree and received a double major in Plan II Honors and Economics. During her time in Austin, she was involved in supporting local communities through mentoring and tutoring initiatives. In May of 2024, she graduated from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she demonstrated academic excellence and leadership through serving as an articles editor on the SMU International Law Review Association and working in the Criminal Law Clinic.
Isabelle brings a diverse and impressive background in law and public service. She has a strong foundation in criminal law from her clerkship with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, specializing in white-collar crime and child protective cases. Through her internships in Washington D.C. at the United States Senate and the White House, she has also gained public policy experience.
Isabelle was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2024. Her steadfastness, kindness, and creativity make her an asset to the office and to her clients. She can be counted on to do diligent work and work closely with clients during a stressful and emotional period in their lives. In addition to her legal expertise, Isabelle is an avid reader, scuba diver, and Kilimanjaro Certified.
